Samsung supports Vietnamese candidates at the 46th World Skills Competition

(LĐXH)- The Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) and the General Directorate of Vocational Training signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on April 21 for a programme to support Vietnamese contestants and experts in attending the 46th World Skills Competition (WSC) that will take place in Shanghai, China in October 2022.
At the event, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of SEV highly appreciated the human resources trained at high-quality vocational education institutions in Vietnam.
This human resource has an important position in Samsung's operation and production process with professional skills and manners.
This year, Samsung will continue to support Vietnam's contestants and experts in two vocations, including IT Software Solutions and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Especially this year, for the first time, the Samsung Vocational Skills Training Center hosted an online friendly competitions between competing teams with the participation of the Vietnamese team.
This contest with the content and form follows the rules of the World Skills Competition
The competition team of Vinh Long Mechanical Pedagogy University and Education will represent Vietnam to participate in the mechatronics career friendly competition this April.
It is expected that from now until October, Samsung Vocational Skills Training Center will continue to support friendly competitions in many other occupations within the framework of the World Skills Competition 2022.
“I believe that this cooperation will bring good results, contributing to strengthening the strong friendship relationship between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Korea”, said Trương Anh Dung ­– Director of the General Department of Vocational Training./.
