According to the socio-economic report of the Hanoi Statistics Office, in the first 10 months of this year, Hanoi has continued to implement solutions to support and promote the labour market towards flexibility and integration.
In October alone, the city entrusted the Bank for Social Policies to provide loans of 151 billion VND to the poor and social policy beneficiaries while creating jobs for more than 3,000 workers.
In addition, 1,600 workers received jobs after interviews held at job fairs and 9,900 workers got jobs through labour export channels and employment services of enterprises in Hanoi.
During the 10-month period, the city also provided unemployment insurance allowances for nearly 58,800 people with a total financial support of 1.55 trillion VND and offered vocational training for 1,400 people.
The city has fully paid the 10-month allowances in 2022 to over 82,000 people with meritorious services and their relatives who are enjoying monthly allowances, totalling over 1.75 trillion VND./. NDO
